28 June 2009: Breaking News Chuck and Chase return to the nest- pic taken 4th July 2009 here
In August 2008 a couple of beautiful pale headed rosellas moved into
the roof cavity of my house. Their names are Chuck and Chase.
They have set up their nest and are
raising their chicks. When I get up in the morning I can hear
the parents working on the nest (made in the paper insulation
in the ceiling) hear the idle chatter in song and watch as the
breeding pair make my humble home theirs. Now the chicks have
hatched I can hear their plaintive cries. So can you - check
