Chuck comes for a treeside chat
This afternoon Chuck came for a chat. Let me explain.
Chuck comes by my bedroom every morning as the sun rises and chats as I respond "Hello Chuck".
This afternoon he sat in the large gravilleae tree outside my front deck and called for me in his chatty fashion.
I responded to his call and slowly took a seat in my chair just ten feet from the normally reserved and shy bird.
He sat there in his tree and chatted to me while I took pictures.. samples below.
Yes, he is a member of the family ... and obviously Cherrie will soon be moving into the nest.
(Chuck was just doing a final check out of the "tree" this year.. and I gave it a big plus).
